In Morocco, the transition to sustainable urban mobility is well underway, and partnerships like the one between the BOOST project and POGO are showing just how powerful collaboration can be.
Together, they are combining innovation, practical experience, and capacity building to open up new pathways for young professionals and support the country’s growing e-mobility sector.

Supporting local solutions for sustainable transport
POGO is already reshaping how people move in Moroccan cities. With more than 500 shared electric scooters in operation, the company is helping make clean mobility more accessible and efficient. But scaling innovation also means investing in people, and that’s where BOOST came in.
Through this partnership, POGO has been able to strengthen its internship programme, using BOOST’s training materials, financial support, and ongoing guidance to provide young professionals with hands-on experience and valuable learning opportunities. Brahim El Bekkali, co-founder of POGO, explains the importance of this partnership.
“BOOST seemed like a great opportunity to train our interns through the instructional material that was shared with us. The financial support was instrumental and enabled us to hire more interns at lower budgets, which boosted our employability. Finally, the certificates given to our interns brought high credibility to the programme and encouraged more to join us later on.”
A people-centred approach
What stands out most in this collaboration is the shared commitment to long-term impact. BOOST’s support doesn’t end with onboarding or training, it accompanies the full process, helping ensure quality and consistency from start to finish.
“The accompaniment of BOOST’s team throughout the process, from hiring interns to delivering their certificates was extremely meaningful for us,” Brahim adds.
This people-centred approach reflects BOOST’s broader mission: to create opportunities that are inclusive, practical, and designed to last.
Looking ahead
The success of the first BOOST cohort at POGO is already leading to new chapters. The second round of internships is underway, and a third is about to begin, showing strong momentum and clear demand.
Interns leave the programme with new skills, hands-on experience, and official recognition, all of which strengthen their career paths and help build local expertise in the e-mobility sector.
As Morocco continues to invest in clean transport, partnerships like this one are laying the groundwork for more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable urban mobility systems. By supporting local talent and encouraging innovation, BOOST and POGO are helping shape a future where cities are not only cleaner, but also full of new possibilities for young professionals.
