Internship Opportunity at UEMI 

UEMI is excited to offer a mandatory internship opportunity to qualified students enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's programs, with a focus on sustainable mobility and urban planning.

This internship program is designed to provide valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and professional environment, while fulfilling your mandatory internship requirements, and aligning with your passion for a more sustainable future.

 

What We Offer:

  • The opportunity to gain practical experience in sustainable mobility and urban planning, working on real-world projects focused on electric mobility and gender in projects around the globe.

  • Work alongside experienced professionals on initiatives that promote greener transportation and innovative urban design.

  • Develop your professional skills in research, data analysis, communication, and project management.

  • Support in research activities.

  • Assist in the preparation of briefing notes, reports, presentations and other documentation.

  • Support the team in capturing, documenting, and organizing relevant knowledge materials.

  • Compile data, information, and bibliography on subject matter relevant to projects implemented.

  • Assist in the organization of official meetings and workshops.

  • Gain exposure to the inner workings of UEMI and our role in shaping sustainable cities.

  • Potential to earn academic credit for your internship (please confirm details with your academic institution).

 

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Highly motivated students enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program, with a strong interest in sustainable mobility and urban planning.

  • Eager to learn and apply knowledge in a practical setting, contributing to a positive environmental and social impact.

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in English language and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Strong analytical skills to synthesize and communicate concepts.

  • Capacity to work independently on multiple assignments simultaneously and adapt to changing demands and circumstances.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Must uphold and demonstrate gender-sensitive attitudes.

Remote Work Opportunity:

This internship is offered as a remote work position, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule and contribute from a location that suits you best.

Duration:

The internship term can range from a minimum of 4 weeks to a maximum of 3 months, depending on your availability and academic program requirements.
