UEMI recently took part in the GEMINI General Assembly in Greater Copenhagen, joining 43 consortium partners focused on advancing sustainable urban mobility. This annual event is a key moment for sharing progress, exchanging ideas, and setting the next steps for innovative mobility projects in Europe.
For two days, the partners showcased their work developing and testing new business models for New Mobility Services (NMS) and building Mobility Living Labs in eight mission cities. The General Assembly also strengthened collaboration with local communities, supporting the co-creation and adoption of mobility solutions that balance user needs, sustainability, and financial viability.
Highlights from the event

Driving the future of sustainable urban mobility
Through these collaborative efforts, the GEMINI project continues to accelerate the shift toward sustainable urban mobility, from expanding shared mobility services and active transport options to integrating micromobility and public transport as part of the new Mobility as a Service (MaaS) model. These actions play a vital role in moving European cities closer to climate neutrality.
As UEMI’s Managing Director Oliver Lah highlighted: "Now that the demonstrations in the Mobility Living Labs are in full swing, we are moving forward to test and validate the replicability of solutions."
