GEMINI and eBRT2030 share project results at TRA 2026

The Transport Research Arena (TRA) Conference, held in Budapest, brought together researchers, city representatives, mobility experts and project stakeholders from across Europe.

At the European Commission stand, the GEMINI project was presented alongside other European-funded initiatives. The project team shared the work of GEMINI’s Mobility Living Labs, with a particular focus on the Copenhagen and Amsterdam pilot projects, through flyers, videos and discussions with visitors.

Many visitors were interested in how cities can test sustainable mobility solutions in real-world settings and how collaboration between public authorities, citizens, businesses and knowledge institutions can support the mobility transition.

Sharing project resources ando utcomes

Visitors could also learn more about the project through the GEMINI website, the GEMINI Academy and the shared mobility handbook developed by the Copenhagen Mobility Living Lab.

The GEMINI Academy brought together project materials including webinars, interviews and the e-course. A QR code at the stand helped guide visitors to these resources and other project outcomes.

GEMINI also joined sister projects UPPER and SPINE in presenting a quiz on sustainable urban mobility. Plantable bookmarks, plantable pens and notebooks were distributed during the event.

Presenting GEMINI at TRA sessions

In addition to the activities at the European Commission stand, project representatives attended the conference’s lunchtime presentation sessions, where project coordinators and managers shared project results.

During one of these sessions, GEMINI was presented by Prof. Oliver Lah. The conference helped increase the visibility of the project, share its results with a wider audience and establish new connections for potential future collaboration.
