Background
SOLUTIONSplus was a global flagship initiative under the EU Horizon 2020 programme designed to support electric mobility transitions in more than 50 cities worldwide. The project combined technical demonstrations, policy support, capacity building, and partnerships between public authorities, private companies, research institutions, and start-ups. It aimed to deliver comprehensive urban e-mobility ecosystems that are inclusive, low-emission, and integrated with wider urban planning and energy strategies.
UEMI’s Role & Activities
UEMI served as the overall project coordinator, managing a consortium of over 40 partners across all continents. Its specific activities included:

Coordination and Strategic Oversight: Ensuring timely delivery of work packages, smooth collaboration between partners, and alignment with policy frameworks like the SDGs and Paris Agreement.
