E-mobility Job Potential in AfricaThe Urban Electric Mobility Initiative
(UEMI) is looking for a consultant to prepare a short analytical study on the job creation potential of electric mobility in selected African partner countries.
The study will assess market opportunities, key barriers and relevant actors along the e-mobility value chain, with a particular focus on Ghana, Morocco and Rwanda.
It should also explore links to skills development, TVET, local enterprises and sustainable employment creation in the e-mobility sector.
Scope of work: The consultant will prepare a concise analytical report including a market analysis, an overview of opportunities and barriers, identification of key actors and collaboration opportunities, and practical recommendations including a roadmap for increasing the impact of the BOOST project.
Expected profile: Applicants should have experience in sustainable mobility, electric mobility, employment promotion, TVET and/or international development cooperation.
Strong analytical and writing skills are required.
Knowledge of African mobility markets is an asset.
